Cali emcee Murs presents the Hobostewd-directed music video for “Epic Salutations”, the opening track from his recent album Love & Rockets Vol. 1: The Transformation, produced entirely by Ski Beatz, the man behind classic tracks for Jay-Z, Mos Def, Camp Lo and many more. Murs’ most recent release is Yumiko: Curse Of The Merch Girl, his album and graphic novel collaboration with Josh Blaylock. He recently curated Through The Mic, the Los Angeles County Museum of Art’s first-ever hip-hop concert series, and this year’s installment of his annual Paid Dues festival featured Wu-Tang Clan, Odd Future, Kendrick Lamar and many more.

Just me playing out a beat I made, please enjoy. If you  like the beat please check out my channel I have plenty more beat on there.

“God of Joy” is the the lead single from ANTHM’s forthcoming EP, Joy & Pain.

ANTHM drops his new single, this song is the type of song one can hear on the radio, but if you listen deep into the lyrics you can hear he is actually rapping meaningful content. It’s like a real hip hop song sugar coated with a radio hip hop beat, probably meant to capture a greater audience. I see nothing wrong with this, ANTHM is a talented artist and deserves more recognition then what he receives.

Not featured on the solo tip since this past December, when he stepped into the Booth with The Clean Hand, Blu makes his triumphant return to our pages with Kiss the Sky, a fresh promo single inspired by the famous line from Hendrix’ Purple Haze. Here beatsmith M-Phazes serves up a dreamy, sampled beat to back the Cali underground mainstay’s characteristically intricate bars. Mela Machinko lends her vocals to the hook and DJ Dutchmaster provides the cuts.
